The State of Alabama Housing Task Force, the Alabama Emergency Management Agency and FEMA invite Tuscaloosa’s tornado survivors to stop by The Tuscaloosa County Housing and Recovery Expo happening at Central High School on Saturday, July 16.

Tornado survivors will find help on how to plan and accomplish their permanent housing goals. Housing experts will be available to answer frequently asked questions about mortgages, foreclosures, rebuilding and more – all in a relaxed environment. The Housing and Recovery Expo will provide help spanning a broad spectrum of professions including fraud counseling, insurance and legal aid. Various community organizations will also be at the Expo to assist attendees with crisis counseling and other recovery related efforts.

Many of Tuscaloosa’s Tornado survivors still need financial help and emotional support. The Housing and Recovery Expo is being coordinated to provide survivors with the help they need throughout the recovery process.The Tuscaloosa County Housing and Recovery Expo will take place July 16 at Central High School.
